기시다 선거 유세 직전 폭탄 테러 발생 사건(2023.04.15)

According to NHK's report on the 15th, an explosive throw occurred during the election campaign of current Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. Shortly after arriving at the scene for Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's election campaign at around 11:30 a.m. in Wakayama City's Saikazaki Port, a loud explosion rang as a man threw a silver object. As a result, one police officer was slightly injured, and Prime Minister Fumio Kishida managed to evacuate and was unharmed. The object used to throw explosives is believed to be an iron pipe bomb, and one other unexploded explosive was also seized.

 

금일 15일 NHK 보도의 따르면 기시다 후미오 현 일본 총리의 선거 유세중 폭발물 투척 사건이 일어났습니다.  오전 11시 반쯤 와카야마시의 사이카자키항구에서 기시다 후미오 총리의 선거 유세를 위해 현장에 도착한 직후, 한 남성이 은색 물체를 던지면서 큰 폭발음이 울렸습니다. 이로 인해 경찰관 1명이 경상을 입었고, 기시다 후미오 총리는 가까스로 대피하여 다치지 않았습니다. 폭발물 투척에 사용된 물체는 쇠파이프 폭탄으로 추정되며, 폭발하지 않은 다른 폭발물 1개도 압수되었습니다.

 

Police arrested 24-year-old Kimura Ryuji, who threw explosives at the scene. Ryuji Kimura said he would speak through a lawyer while exercising his right to remain silent. Witnesses said they could see flashing lights just before the explosion. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida pushed ahead with his local street speech as scheduled despite the explosive throwing incident and continued his candidacy in the subsequent by-election. There is no specific information on Yuji Kimura, a terrorist, so we need to wait and see. In July last year, former Prime Minister Abe was shot dead by Yamagami Tetsuya during an election support campaign.

 

경찰은 현장에서 폭발물을 투척한 24살 기무라 류지를 체포했습니다. 기무라 류지는 묵비권을 행사하면서 변호사를 통해 얘기하겠다고 말햇습니다. 목격자들은 해당 물체에서 폭발 직전 깜빡거리는 불빛이 보였다고 합니다. 기시다 후미오 일본 총리는 폭발물 투척 사건이 발생했음에도 현지 가두연설을 예정대로 강행했고 이어지는 보궐선거에서 후보 지월을 이어갔습니다. 아직까지 테러 용의자 기무라 유지에 대해서는 구체적인 정보가 없기 때문에 지켜봐야 할 듯합니다.

 

해당 사건과  같은 사례로 지난해 7월에는 아베 전 총리가 선거 지원 유세 도중 야마가미 테스야의 총에 맞아 숨지는 일이 발생했습니다. 

 

 

1. 기시다 후미오 현 일본 총리는 누구인가?

 

Fumio Kishida is now the 100th Prime Minister of Japan and previously served in various positions, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Special Affairs of the Cabinet Office, and Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party Jeongjo. Fumio Kishida won the LDP presidential election at the time and became LDP president.

기시다 후미오는 현재 일본의 제 100대 내각총리대신으로써 그 전에는 외무대신, 내각부 특명담당대신, 자유민주당 정조회장 등 다양한 직책을 역임하였습니다. 기시다 후미오는 당시 자민당 총재 선거에서 승리해 자민당 총재로 등극하였습니다.

 

2. 테러에 사용된 쇠파이프 폭탄은 무엇인가?

 

An iron pipe bomb is an improvised explosive made using a pipe, which is completed by blocking one hole in the pipe, filling it with solid explosives, and drilling a hole in the cap on the other side, inserting a wick, and closing it. Iron pipe bombs are relatively easier to make and more explosive than other improvised explosives. Explosives are usually made based on ammonium nitrate, and in the case of ammonium nitrate, agricultural high-nitrogen fertilizer materials are also used. Mixing it with iron pipes, etc. greatly increases the risk as an explosive. For this reason, ammonium nitrate is also under strict regulations. The explosion at Lebanon's Beirut port on August 4, 2020 was also speculated to be due to ammonium nitrate. This is because 2,750 tons were stored in the port warehouse for as many as six years.

쇠파이프 폭탄은 파이프를 이용해 만든 급조폭발물로써, 파이프 한쪽 구멍을 막고 고체 폭발물을 채워넣은 뒤 반대편 마개에 구멍을 뚫어 심지를 넣고 닫으면 완성되는 폭탄입니다. 쇠파이프 폭탄은 만드는 과정이 다른 급조폭발물에 비해 상대적으로 손쉬운 편이며 폭발력도 강력한 편입니다. 보통 질산암모늄을 베이스로 하여 폭발물이 만들어지는데, 질산 암모늄의 경우 농업용 고질소 비료 재료도 사용이 됩니다. 이것을 쇠파이프 등과 함게 혼합하여 사용하면 폭발물로써 위험이 크게 증가합니다. 이러한 이유 때문에 질산 암모늄은 엄격한 규제를 받고 있기도 합니다.

 

2020년 8월 4일 레바논 베이루트 항구에서 폭발한 사건도  질산 암모늄이 그 이유로써 추측이 되기도 했습니다.  해당 항구 창고에는 무려 6년간 2,750톤이 보관되어 있었기 때문입니다.
